Slovenia vignette
I want a vignette for several cars at once▼
If you want to buy a vignette for more than one car at the same time, please contact us. It is not necessary to enter each license plate separately - In your message, please list the license plates you wish to register, the length of stay in the state (or multiple states) and the effective date.
Can I cancel or change my vignette if my travel plans change?▼
Typically, an electronic ticket is tied to a specific vehicle and time period and cannot be transferred or changed once activated. In the event of a data entry error or other exceptional situations, it is best to contact us as soon as possible
How to prove payment of a vignette▼
After purchasing the e-Vignette, the vehicle is automatically registered in the electronic system. Checks are carried out electronically on motorways and therefore no physical document is required. However, it is advisable to carry a proof of purchase in case of a manual check.
What happens if I drive on a toll motorway without a valid vignette?▼
Driving on toll motorways without a valid vignette can lead to fines. The amount of the fine can vary and can be collected locally or sent by post to the vehicle owner's address. It is strongly recommended to always have a valid vignette before entering a toll motorway.
I made a mistake on the license plate number. Can I change it?▼
If a mistake is made in entering the registration number when buying a vignette, no changes can be made to the data, including the registration number, once the vignette has started to be valid. Therefore, if an error is made, a new vignette with the correct details must be purchased. It is important to note that the original vignette, even if not used, will not be returned and no refund will be given.
Do I have to print the stamp or glue it somewhere?▼
You don't have to. The digital vignette is linked to your number plate. Toll gates or police patrols will use your number plate to automatically detect the validity of your tag.
How long before the stamp is active?▼
Within 5-10 minutes of payment we send an email with the activation of the stamp. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your bulk mail or SPAM folder first. If you do not find the stamp there either, please contact us. Thank you
I just have a slight error in the license plate▼
The validity of vignettes is checked to a much greater extent by automated systems that can read both the number of the car and the country of registration. In the event of an irregularity, expect to be asked to pay a fine of between €120 and €800 per infringement within a period of 20 days to 2 months. For this reason, we strongly urge clients to fill in all the details carefully (type of car, country of registration, registration number, date of validity) in several places. We understand that it may be unfair to pay a fine even if there is a difference in the data, e.g. a single letter or a selected country. However, automation makes it necessary to take the need for correct data as a fact.
Can I transfer the e-vignette to a vehicle with a different registration number?▼
No, the transfer to a different registration number cannot be made, as the e-vignette is not transferable pursuant to the applicable legislation.
How is the use of e-vignettes controlled?▼
The registration plates of the vehicle are monitored by cameras on the motorway network, at control points and in toll supervision vehicles. After the system has checked the vehicle for which an e-vignette has been purchased, this information is immediately erased from the system, meaning that there are no traces of the use of the toll road left in the system.
I accidentally turned onto the toll road without a valid e-vignette. How do I know if I will be fined?▼
Using toll roads without a valid e-vignette is a violation of the Road Tolling Act and is penalised with a fine of EUR 300. The offence will be dealt with by authorized persons of the Police, the Financial Administration or Dars toll control. The initiation of the procedure for the offence is within the competence of the authorized official. The procedure is initiated based on the detection of the offence i.e. the event recorded with a technical device or, in individual cases, detection by a police officer, a controller of the Financial Administration or a toll inspector. The offender is notified by issuing a payment order sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt no later than one month after the offence was committed. As a rule, the procedure for an offence starts no later than 20 days from the date on which the offence was committed.
What can I do in such a case to prevent the fine being imposed despite having committed an offence? ▼
The action in response to a committed offence is exclusively the responsibility of the authorized official who conducts the procedure. If you commit an offence and use the toll road without a valid e-vignette, we advise you to purchase an e-vignette for the registration number of the vehicle with which you have committed the offence as soon as possible. Before issuing a payment order or later in the process of examining a request for judicial protection, the enforcement authority may consider the e-vignette purchase as a mitigating circumstance.

Toll class 2B includes vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3 500 kg and a height above the first axle of more than 1,3 m (most vans and light vans).
